THOMAS B. LEECH (1918-2014)
Thomas B. Leech was a Coshocton County native. He received a BA degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in 1940 and an LLB degree from Harvard University Law School in 1943. Following his military service in World War II on an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific, Mr. Leech returned to Coshocton in 1946 and became a sole practitioner. Mr. Leech later retired as a Commander in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard Reserves.

In 1969 he helped establish the new law partnership of Freeman, Leech & Freeman which eventually evolved into the present day firm of Leech, Scherbel & Peddicord LLC. He retired from active practice in 2004.

During his career, Mr. Leech served as Solicitor and Mayor of the City of Coshocton and also as Coshocton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Mr. Leech served as President of the Coshocton Public Library Board of Trustees and Secretary of The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum Foundation.  Mr. Leech was a member of The Presbyterian Church since 1930.

In 2007 Mr. Leech was the recipient of the annual Coshoctonian Award. He was married to the late Merle S. Leech, and they have three children, Penny, Pam, and Tom. Two children, Stephen and Debbie are deceased.

Paul R. Scherbel received a B. A. in business administration and his law degree from Capital University. He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1973 and to the United States District Court, Southern District in 1977.  Paul has also served as an Assistant Coshocton County Prosecuting Attorney.

Paul is a licensed title insurance agent and the managing attorney of Leech, Scherbel & Peddicord LLC. Paul now has a general practice with emphasis in business and transaction work, real estate, estate planning and probate matters.

He is “AV” rated in Martindale-Hubbell. Paul is married to his wife Lynn and has two children, Arthur and Susan.

Randall H. Peddicord is a graduate of Ashland University where he received his B.A. in Business Administration in 1975. Randy received his law degree from the University of Dayton in 1981 after starting and managing two businesses.

Randy served as Assistant Coshocton County Prosecuting Attorney.  Randy is also a licensed title insurance agent and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He served as Solicitor of the Village of Warsaw for many years. Randy is a past President of the Coshocton Foundation, co-founder of the River View Schools Foundation, Newpointe Community Church - Coshocton and was an adjunct professor at Ashland University’s MBA program.

His areas of practice include business law, estate planning, asset protection, estate and trust administration, elder law and real estate.

Randy is married to Joni Peddicord and has two children, Lindsey and Kelsey.
